- MINUTE ORDER #026/12: County Judge Jon
Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes of January 23,
2012, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2 - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #027/12: County Engineer,
Bryan Neaves presented for approval the final plat for Carroll Estes
Industrial Development, a 1-Lot, 1-Block Subdivision (27.95 acres), on the
East side of I-35 and Bottoms East Road, located in the ETJ of the City of
Troy. After due discussion, the Court took no action on this matter.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #028/12: Upon
motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court approved all employee status report
forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Board of Area Agency on Aging Appointments After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved the appointments
of the following individuals to vacancies on the Board of Area Agency on
Aging: Dr. Isaac Gusakuma - Academia; Eleanor Gray - 60+
Minority; Richard Archer - Veterans Related; Mike Mathis -
Protective Services.
Agenda #5 - Replacing Roofs - Juvenile Probation Offices
- MINUTE ORDER #030/12: Russell
Williams, Assistant Auditor presented for approval awarding the bid for
replacing roofs on Buildings #1 and #4 at the Juvenile Probation Offices to
EBCO Development in the amount of $141,800. After due discussion,
upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by
Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #6 - Replacing Rooftop Air Handlers - Juvenile
Probation Offices
- MINUTE ORDER #031/12: Russell
Williams, Assistant Auditor presented for approval awarding the bid for
replacing nine rooftop Air Handlers on Buildings #1 and #4 at the Juvenile
Probation Offices to Bell Air Conditioning for option #1 in the amount of
$86,402.00. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #7 - Request for Qualifications for
Architectural Firms
- MINUTE ORDER #032/12: After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved awarding the
Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural Firms for projects in
general to the following firms: 1113 Architects, Inc., Georgetown;
Architectural Edge, Inc., Temple; Lord-Aeck-Sargent Architecture (TWC/Kim
Williams), Austin; Lewis Design Group, Galveston; Wiginton
Hooker Jeffry Architects, Plano; and The Wallace Group Architects
Engineers, Waco.
Agenda #8 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #033/12:
County Judge Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
